PaycheckSimple is a free tool that helps people in the United States understand their real take-home pay. Gross salary numbers are easy to find — what actually lands in your bank account after federal tax, state tax, and FICA is much harder. We make that clear in seconds.

Our approach

The calculator runs entirely in your browser. We never collect or store your salary information. Calculations use published 2025 federal and state tax parameters, which we treat as example values pending verification against official sources — see our methodology and sources pages.

PaycheckSimple is operated by Archie Design App LLC, a US-registered company building practical, privacy-respecting online tools. We are not a tax preparation service and the calculator does not constitute tax or financial advice.
