Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 27, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how PaycheckSimple ("we", "us", or "our"), operated by Archie Design App LLC, handles information when you visit paychecksimple.com (the "Site"). By using the Site, you agree to the practices described below.
1. Information we collect
We designed PaycheckSimple to be privacy-respecting. The paycheck calculator runs entirely in your browser, and the salary figures you enter are never sent to our servers or stored by us.
We do collect or receive the following:
- Usage and analytics data: standard information such as pages viewed, approximate location (country/region), device type, browser, and referring page. This is aggregated and helps us improve the Site.
- Email address (optional): only if you voluntarily join a product waitlist. We use it solely to notify you about that product and you can unsubscribe at any time.
- Log data: our hosting provider may automatically record IP addresses and request metadata for security and reliability purposes.
2. Cookies and similar technologies
We and our partners use cookies and similar technologies (such as web beacons and local storage) to operate the Site, remember preferences, measure traffic, and serve advertising. Cookies are small files stored on your device. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings; however, some features may not work as intended if cookies are disabled.
3. Advertising and Google AdSense
PaycheckSimple uses third-party advertising, including Google AdSense, to help keep the calculator free. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies (including the DART cookie) enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our Site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- Third-party advertisers and ad networks may also use cookies to measure ad performance and serve personalized ads.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings. You can also opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting aboutads.info or the NAI opt-out page.
For more information on how Google uses data when you use our partners' sites or apps, see Google's Privacy & Terms.
4. How we use information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Site and its calculators.
- To understand how visitors use the Site (aggregated analytics).
- To display relevant advertising that supports the free tool.
- To respond to your messages and, if you opted in, to notify you about a product launch.
- To protect against fraud, abuse, and security threats.
5. Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal information. We share limited data only with service providers that help us run the Site (for example, hosting, analytics, and advertising partners such as Google), and only as needed for them to perform those services. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.
6. Your rights (GDPR & CCPA)
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information.
- EU/UK (GDPR): you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and object to or restrict certain processing. Where we rely on consent (such as for personalized ads), you may withdraw it at any time.
- California (CCPA/CPRA): you have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell personal information for money.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@archie-design.app.
7. Children's privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
8. Data retention
We retain information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law. Aggregated analytics data may be kept indefinitely as it does not identify you personally.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page, and your continued use of the Site after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
10. Contact us
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or how we handle your data, email us at contact@archie-design.app.
