These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of PaycheckSimple (the "Site"), operated by Archie Design App LLC. By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Nature of the service

PaycheckSimple offers free online calculators that estimate take-home pay after federal, state, Social Security, and Medicare taxes. The calculations are based on published tax parameters and simplifying assumptions described on our methodology page. They do not account for every variable that affects your actual paycheck (for example, pre-tax retirement contributions, itemized deductions, tax credits, local taxes, or wage garnishments).

2. No professional advice

Nothing on the Site constitutes tax, legal, accounting, investment, or other professional advice, and no professional relationship is created by your use of the Site. You are solely responsible for verifying any figures against official sources and for any decisions you make.

3. Accuracy and tax-rate changes

We make reasonable efforts to keep tax rates and brackets current, but we do not warrant that the information is complete, accurate, or up-to-date at all times. Tax rates may change during a year, and official guidance ultimately supersedes anything shown here. Always confirm with the IRS, your state tax authority, or a professional.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Site, including by attempting to disrupt it, scrape it at a scale that harms performance, reverse engineer it for malicious purposes, or use it in violation of any applicable law.

5. Intellectual property

The Site's content, design, and code are owned by Archie Design App LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may use the calculators for your personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works from the Site without our permission.

6. Third-party links and advertising

The Site displays third-party advertising (including Google AdSense) and may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, products, or practices of any third party. Your interactions with advertisers or linked sites are solely between you and that third party.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Archie Design App LLC and its owners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Site or reliance on any estimate produced by it.

9. Changes to the Site and Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Site at any time, and we may update these Terms from time to time. Changes are effective when posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except where applicable consumer-protection law requires otherwise.
